Dean of the Faculty of International Relations of the Belarusian University addressed the UWED

A lecture by the Dean of the Faculty of International Relations of the Belarusian State University (BSU), Professor Doctor of History, took place at the UWED Shadursky V.G. on the topic widely discussed at present in Uzbekistan: “Eurasian Economic Union: achievements, problems and challenges”. The performance of a prominent Belarusian scientist gathered a large number of interested students - teachers, doctoral students, masters and bachelors. During the meeting, the administration's administration discussed issues of expanding cooperation between the UWED and the Belarusian State University, holding joint scientific and practical conferences, symposia and seminars on pressing issues of international relations and world trade with the participation of leading experts of the two countries.

The guest acquainted in detail with the main educational and scientific programs of BSU, the efforts taken to improve the efficiency and quality of academic programs, spoke about new approaches in the academic policy of the BSU.

Details were discussed of the details of the draft Memorandum \ agreement on cooperation between the UWED and the Belarusian State University, providing, in particular, for the start of on-line lectures of professors of two universities for students.

For reference: The BSU Faculty of International Relations (FMO) prepares specialists in the areas of: international relations, international law, world economics, management with a specialization in international tourism management, customs, linguistic studies, modern foreign languages, cultural studies.

About 2,500 students are studying at it, including about 500 foreign students from 30 countries.

The FMO provides education in 6 specialties and 18 specializations of economic, legal, historical-political, linguistic profile. The advantage of studying at the FMO is the in-depth study of two or more foreign languages ​​by students. In the current academic year, the departments of language disciplines provide teaching of 20 foreign languages. The staff of teachers and staff totals about 300 people, including 19 doctors and more than 100 candidates of science.
