“Woman in ensuring tolerant, sustainable development”

On November 16, 2019, a Forum, known as “Woman in ensuring tolerant, sustainable development”, was held within the framework of the youth parliament.

The following people took part in this Forum: the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Chairman of the Women's Committee of Uzbekistan, E. Bositkhonova, the Vice Khokim of Tashkent, the head of Tashkent Women’s Committee, D. Nazhmiddinova, the Vice Khokim of the Mirzo-Ulugbek district, the head of the Women’s Committee of the district, Kh. Safarova, the UN Resident Coordinator for the Republic of Uzbekistan, Helena Fraser.

In addition, scientists of Tashkent, students, undergraduate and post-graduate, the professional and teaching staff of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy participated in the Forum.

The students at the Faculty of International Relations, the leaders of the Girls’ Club, made a presentation.

At the end of the Forum, an address was made to women on the further use of women’s leadership in political issues and further active participation of Uzbekistan’s Women in the world arena.
