Meeting with representatives of Meisei University (Japan)

A meeting with professors and students of Meisei University of Japan, who were in Uzbekistan in order to learn about its educational and tourist potential, took place at the UWED.

Professor of the Department of International Studies at Meisei University, Hiromas Tanaka, during a meeting in the administration, informed that Japanese experts developed a program in the form of an electronic application designed for wide advertising of the tourism potential of Uzbekistan. He emphasized that our country has enormous prospects in this area. This program will be presented at the planned in November this year. International Tourism Exhibition in Japan.

The parties also discussed in detail the prospects for further mutually beneficial cooperation, in particular, considered the possibility of organizing exchange programs between students of the UWED and Meisei University.

The guests got acquainted with great interest with the information resource center of the UWED, with the library, with the process of learning the Japanese language. Students of the UWED, studying Japanese, actively communicated with their foreign peers, expanding their ideas about the conditions and system of education at Meisei University, about the main problems of modern Japanese youth.

 At the end, the students of the UWED together with Japanese students performed the anthem of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
