Elections-2019 in the eyes of the student youth

On the basis of the priorities for the ideology of the People’s Democratic Party of Uzbekistan and its program objectives, a meeting was held on the topic “Elections-2019 in the eyes of the student youth”.

On November 8, 2019, for the purposes of the implementation of the Presidential Decree “On the radical improvement of the system of increasing legal awareness and legal culture in society” dated January 9, 2019, the execution of the decision of the Central Election Commission on holding a month of propaganda of election legislation from October 20 to November 20, 2019, the ensuring of the youth’s active participation in the elections of deputies to the Legislative Chamber, regional, district and city Kengashes of people’s deputies dated December 22, 2019, the increase of the youth’s legal literacy, a meeting took place on the topic “Elections-2019 in the eyes of the student youth” with the students of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy as well as deputy candidates of the People’s Democratic Party of Uzbekistan from the Mirzo Ulugbek district Kengash.

The chairman of the Mirzo Ulugbek district Kengash, Sh. Kurbonova, deputy candidates of the district Kengash, the professional and teaching staff of the University as well as students at the Faculties of International Relations, International Economic Relations and Management, International Law took part in the meeting.

The meeting was held in a lively atmosphere, in the form of a discussion and the students received reasonable, laconic and full answers to the questions of interest to them.
