On November 2, 2019, a master class was organized at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy by the Department of Economic Theory. The master class was held on “Economic reforms in Uzbekistan: challenges and measures to maintain macroeconomic stability” by Jasur Karshibaev, director of the Department “State Internal and External Debt” of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The event was attended by the head of the Department of Economic Theory L. M. Tashpulatova, associate professor R. A. Djuraeva, students of the faculty of IEM and IR. During the lecture, Jasur Karshibaev spoke about the main directions of reforms carried out in Uzbekistan, challenges and threats, as well as measures taken by the government to ensure macroeconomic stability. This master class aroused great interest among students and made it possible to expand their knowledge in the sphere of economic reforms.

In the final part of the master class, there was an opinion exchange during which students received answers to their questions, and students addressed words of gratitude to the organizers of the master class and praised the substantive side of the event.
