We announce the beginning of the admission of applicants to the Bachelor's degree (for passing the preliminary entrance exam) from June 15 to July 5, 2022, at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy.
Documents are accepted in the following areas of bachelor's degree:
“International relations” (60310800);
“Political Science” (60310700);
“International Economics and Management (60412000);
“Jurisprudence” (60420100).
Preliminary exams will be held at the University from July 1 to July 7. The preliminary exams will consist of the following blocks:
Intellectual level (40 points), the ability of logical and dimensional thinking, to compare different concepts, facts and find interrelations between them;
The level of proficiency in the native language (30 points), the ability to speak competently and argumentatively on issues related to culture, art, history of Uzbekistan, geography and other issues included in the program of secondary specialized, professional educational institutions (academic lyceum, professional college), as well as general education schools (based on the 11th class);
The level of foreign language proficiency (English, French, German) (30 points), the ability to speak competently and argumentatively on issues related to culture, art, history of Uzbekistan, geography and other areas. At the same time, applicants who have valid certificates of leading international and examination systems in a foreign language, including international certificates with an IELTS level of knowledge — at least 5.5 points, TOEFL IBT — at least 61 points, as well as a minimum level of B2 according to the CEFR method for exams DaF test, GOETNE certificate, DELF, are assigned the maximum points for this block of questions.
The preliminary examination for admission to the Bachelor's degree courses of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy (hereinafter UWED) is carried out in accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated June 21, 2018 No. PP-3795 “On measures to radically improve the activities of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy” and with the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated July 28, 2018 For No. 594 “On approval of the Regulations on the procedure for admission to Bachelor's and Master's degrees of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy”.
