UWED Judo Championship

In order to develop single-combat sports and to further enhance their international prestige, according to the decree No. 4881 of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the University of World Economy and Diplomacy held the UWED Judo Championship in a tournament-festive form. In this competition:

Winners in the weight category -73 kg were:

• 1st place - Sherzod Fayzakhmatov (IR)
• 2nd place - Shukrullauev Khurshid (IL)
• 3rd place - Khursanov Diyorbek (IR)

Winners in the +73 kg weight category were:

• 1st place - Elbek Ibrokhimov (IER)
• 2nd place - Iskandarov Jonibek (IL)
• 3rd place - Sharipov Abdurakhmon (IR)

Winners in the -60 kg weight category were:

• 1st place - Dostonbek Sultonov (IL)
• 2nd place - Mahmudov Aziz (IER)
• 3rd place - Makhamadjanov Farrukh (IL)

Places of honor for the "The best technique" received

• Khursanov Dierbek (IL)
• Fayzakhmatov Sherzod (IR)

Competition was held by L. Mingishov, the Vice-Rector of UWED and conducted by physical educators and sports teachers Sh.Dilmurodov, D. Rakhmatov and coach R. Maksumov.
