Humanity needs peace and tranquility every day.

Neither the home that has lost its peace nor the country can ever be at peace.

Peace and tranquility are the key to the development.

Our people always remember the heroes who defended our country from invaders and fought for freedom and independence. When we talk about the memory of the people, we mean not only the Veterans of the Great Patriotic War, but also the great people who fought for the development of the country and the nation, who sacrificed their strength, knowledge and life. Great people like Spitamen, Shirak, Turkon Khotun, Mahmud Tarobi, Sahibkiran Amir Temur,  Mirzo Ulughbek , Zahiriddin Muhammad Bobur, Jaloliddin Manguberdi , Najmiddin Kubro, Cholpon, Avloni, Fitrat, Usmon Nosir, Abdulla Qodiri, Erkin Vohidov are always in our memory .

Humanity will never forget those people who fought in the World War II and died heroically in this brutal war. However, it is not exaggeration to say that there are so few living War Veterans who fought at the battle lines and who served behind the front lines. It is our sacred duty to remember the past and to honor those who are still with us, as they are a symbol of living history.

On this day, we remember those, who died in the World War II, those who fought in Afghanistan, those who died in the line of duty during the years of independence as well as enforcement officers who contributed their lives for our future.

Those who did not see their fathers, who had died in the terrible war, and those who at least once said "Daddy!" are not so many. Today we would like to bring to your attention “Nido” the dedication of our beloved writer, playwright, statesman and public figure, a Hero of Uzbekistan, People's Poet of Uzbekistan Erkin Vohidov. The dedication was prepared by the students of the Faculty of International Relations.

People exist so long as the memory does. No one and nothing is forgotten. In order to preserve and appreciate today's peaceful times, people should never forget the war, its heroes and anyone who made a worthy contribution to the victory, because memory is always sacred.
