Democratic Elections and International Standards

On September 20, the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Uzbekistan officially announced the start of an election campaign for the election of deputies of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis and deputies of local Kengashes. In this regard, the Central Election Commission organizes a series of events related to the electoral law, the preparation and conduct of the electoral process in the field.

One of these events took place on October 2 of  this year at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy on the topic “Democratic Elections and International Standards”. The event was attended by members of the CEC, university professors and students, as well as media representatives.

At the event, university students received detailed information on amendments to the legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
