Participation of the International Law Faculty’s (UWED) Team in 2019 Wilem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot

The UWED Team (consisting of the International Law faculty’s students: Jurajonov Abdulaziz, Toshtemirova Nafosat, Mirjonov Maksud. and the coaches Masadikov Sherzod and Xasanova Farangis) will take part in 2019 Wilem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot being held from April 12 to April 18, 2019.

Wilem C.VIS International Commercial Arbitration Moot or Vis Moot is an international competition – simulation of the international commercial arbitration. The aim of Vis Moot is to promote the study of international commercial law and arbitration for the resolution of international commercial disputes through its application to a specific problem, as well as the training of future personnel, academics in the field of international commercial law. The competition brings together leading legal scholars, lawyers, leading law firms, acting arbitrators and students from around the world.

The University expresses its confidence that the UWED Team will demonstrate strong knowledge and skills gained during the study period and participate successfully among the strongest teams in the world. We wish good luck to the Team in the upcoming rounds.
