Actual issues of organizational and legal improvement of the management system in the energy sector and modern energy diplomacy and security

04.05.2019 a scientific and practical conference was held at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy on the topic: Actual issues of organizational and legal improvement of the management system in the energy sector and modern energy diplomacy and security.

The following issues were addressed during the conference:

• a system of world energy policy and diplomacy at the global, regional, international and corporate levels, the formation of a modern energy policy and diplomacy of the Republic of Uzbekistan;
• definition of conceptual issues in the framework of the further development of the structure of the energy complex, the state and improvement of the legal framework of the energy complex of the Republic of Uzbekistan;
• state and development of the organizational and legal framework and methods of energy diplomacy and policy of the Republic of Uzbekistan;
• definition of conceptual issues of development of modern energy policy and diplomacy of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
• legal support of the energy security of the Republic of Uzbekistan;

The purpose of the Conference was:

• analysis, assessment of the state of the energy complex of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the results and problems existing in this industry, the definition of objectives for the study of the regulatory and legal component of the energy sector, the prospects for energy policy and diplomacy;
• the creation of a broad scientific discussion platform for the exchange of views and experience on the organizational and legal support of the energy complex and energy diplomacy and security;
• development of scientific conclusions and practical recommendations, as well as assistance in the practical implementation of the outcome of the conference.

In addition to domestic experts, experts from Russia and Kazakhstan participated in the conference.
