Discussion about a career in climate change and technology

Within the framework of the regional week "WOMEN OF CENTRAL ASIA IN SCIENCE & TECHNOLOGIES" which were held on March 27, 2019 at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy, the session with a main theme: "Career in climate change and technology" was held. Investors, entrepreneurs, innovators and experts from Great Britain, Silicon Valley and Uzbekistan have participated in this event. The main speakers were Saida Yusupova, Ozoda Ismailova and Shahboz Akhmedov – the previous alumnus’s of UWED. One of the speakers, Saida Yusupova, just a few days ago, won an international competition of women entrepreneurs under the auspices of the World Bank and the UN. An international experts had also participated in the discussion:

- Dr. Monika Tomecka, a scientist and entrepreneur. Executive Director of uFraction8 Ltd. (Great Britain)
- Catriona McGill, Technology Manager at a Clean Technology Startup, (UK)
