The writer, thinker, public and political figure Chingiz Aytmatov has national and world significance. His works "The First Teacher", "Jamilya", "Farewell, Gyulsary", "Mother's Field", "And more than a century lasts a day, "Plough" and many others became classics of the twentieth century, they were brought up by more than one generation of people of different nations and peoples.

On June 1, a literary evening dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the birth of a famous Kyrgyz writer was held in the reading room of the Information and Resource Center of the University. It was attended by students, teachers, university staff. A fifth-year student of the faculty of "IEA" Ibrokhim Mirzarakhmatov recalls: "I and many of my friends have been reading with interest from the stories of Chingiz Aytmatov. We described everything we described as a living reality, we learned from his works, acquired an understanding of what is good and evil. "

Munisa Sagdullaeva, Gayrat Mukhitdinov, and Maftuna Alimbekova talked with emotion about the influence of Chingiz Aytmatov's works on their worldview and perception of the beautiful. Students read excerpts from the writer's works.

The initiators of the evening were professors of the Department "Social and Humanities Sciences" Professor Fatima Izzatullaeva Muminova and Associate Professor Aziza Abdullaevna Usmanova. Employees of the Information Resource Center Irina Ivanovna Klimitenko and Tatyana Ivanovna Asmolovskaya took part in the evening. The literary evening was a symbol of friendship between the Uzbek and Kyrgyz people.
