Orientation week at the UWED

The University welcomed the freshmen by holding an Orientation week called “Freshmen School” from September 4 to 16, 2017. On September 4, the Lectures were dedicated to the 26^th anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan. During that week, the students had an opportunity to learn the university better.   The freshmen had a tour around the university campus, learned about the House of Students, Information and Resource Centre as well as a sports and health center. They had a number of meetings with prominent scientists, academics and professors.  Along with that, the students got acquainted with the activities of the Department of Spirituality and Enlightenment, the department of scientific research, the international department, the marketing department and the second department. During the orientation week, the freshmen were informed about their curators and curriculum plans for the new academic year.
