The Best Organizer of Access to Electronic Resources - The Information and Resource Center of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy

A seminar on the theme "Development of information and resource centers for information support in higher education" was held at Tashkent University of Information Technologies on March 22-23, 2017. This seminar was organized with the support of the Committee for the Coordination of the Development of Science and Technology under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the National Office of  ERASMUS +, HEREs, E-LINE PRESS, Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education, the State Scientific Medical Library of Uzbekistan and the National Library of  Uzbekistan. The event was attended by the member of staff of information and library institutions.

Representatives of the leading companies of the world (Clarify Analytics, EBSCO information services, Wiley, ProQuest, Springer + Nature, Oxford University Press, eIFL and other publishers and aggregators) were invited to the event.

The Information and Resource Center of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy was awarded the 1st place in the nomination "The Best Organizer of Access to Electronic Resources" for the active utilization and application of the scientific and educational resources of  EBSCO. The representatives of the university received a certificate and valuable prize.
