Book exhibition "The Great Uzbek poet - Alisher Navoi", dedicated to 576 anniversary of the birth of Alisher Navoi

On February 6^th, 2017 in the information-resource center UWED open a book exhibition dedicated to the 576-th anniversary of Alisher Navoi - prominent Uzbek poet, thinker, statesman, who has made a huge contribution to the development of Uzbek literature.

The exhibition presents modern multi-volume edition of the works of Alisher Navoi, books about the life and work. It is more than 3000 poems and ghazals, poems, scientific works and poetic treatises which fully reveal the spiritual life in Central Asia at the end of the XV century.

Participants the exhibition will familiarize with the edition of the famous "Khamsa", a collection of five poems, based on the national epic and is considered to be the pinnacle of creativity of Navoi.

Also on display are famous works of Alisher Navoi written Oybek, Maksoud Shaikhzada and other writers at different times.

After visiting the exhibition, users will learn what works, publications on the life and works of Alisher Navoi has information and resource center UWED.
