On November 29, the Commissioner for Children's Rights of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Aliya Yunusova held a meeting with the new members of the “Street Law” team

The team members analyzed international and national normative legal acts that ensure the protection and guarantee of child`s rights. They also identified problems in the law enforcement practice of state structures and prepared recommendations for improving the justice system in relation to children. During the meeting, students raised issues of youth policy and indicators of Uzbekistan in international rankings, children's access to justice, the activities of state and non-state structures.
Certain cases concerning the rights of children with disabilities were also discussed during the meeting. As Aliya Yunusova noted: 
"No matter where he is, every child has the right to access education, and it is the duty of the state to ensure this access."
At the end of the meeting, the Ombudsman for Children's Rights Aliya Yunusova and the Director of the Legal Clinic Ziedulla Ubaydullayev discussed issues of further cooperation. In the work plan of the Ombudsman, there is the continuation of meetings with new members of the "Street Law" team on the topics of legal enlightenment.
