Festival of Oriental Culture

April 19, 2022 In the assembly hall of the UWED, another event dedicated to the culture of the country of the language being studied took place. The organizers of the musical performance were the Department of Oriental Languages.

Students studying such oriental languages ​​as Japanese, Arabic, Chinese and Korean, performing popular songs in the target language, demonstrated knowledge of not only a foreign language, but some aspects of the culture of the country of the target language. Speaking in the national costumes of Japan, Korea, China, the countries of the Arab world, welcoming the guests of the event in the studied language, they made it possible to get acquainted with the history and traditions of these countries.

The participants of the concert program performed not only traditional, but also modern dances that tell about the history and culture of the countries of the East.
