On January 17, a round table was held among the students of the Faculty of International Law on the topic "Legal Issues of Placement of Minors in Educational Institutions"

The round table was held online by the Director of the Legal Clinic at UWED Ziyodullo Ubaydullaev and the Children's Ombudsman of the Republic of Uzbekistan Aliya Yunusova. The speakers touched upon the legal problems that are encountered in the legislation, ways of their further solution, and also spoke about the general picture of the state of the system for protecting the rights of the child. Namely, the process of deinstitutionalization, the process of comparing international norms of the Convention "On the Rights of the Child" and national legislation are considered in detail.

At the meeting, the successes and achievements of the Street Law project, created on the basis of the Memorandum between the UWED Legal Clinic and the Children's Ombudsman Institute, were noted.
