A conference on "Central Asia and the global world through the eyes of young people" organized by the Center for Development Strategy and the Friedrich Ebert Foundation opened on November 16 at the Hilton Hotel in Tashkent. The two-day event was opened by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federal Republic of Germany to Uzbekistan Dr. Tino Klinner.

At the invitation of the Friedrich Ebert Foundation, Faridun Sattarov, Head of the Department of Political Science, UWED, Doctor of Political Sciences, delivered lectures at the two-day seminar-training. Sattarov's lectures were attended by Uzbek youth as well as invited students from Kazakhstan.

The Friedrich Ebert Foundation conducts work at the national level on projects of individual countries, the aim of which is to foster interaction between Central Asian researchers, politicians and civil society organizations. Along with this, it should be noted that the Friedrich Ebert Foundation as a European foundation is particularly interested in the development of mutual understanding and cooperation between Central Asia and the European Union.

Holding such events is a manifestation of the process of cooperation and good neighborliness, and will help to expand the circle of dialogue for the Central Asian states.
