UWED student took part in the OSCE Model and the Central Asian Youth Talks in Tajikistan

3rd year student of the Faculty of International Relations Fazliddin Djamalov took part in the OSCE Model and the Central Asian Youth Talks in Tajikistan organized by the OSCE Program Office in Dushanbe from October 29 to November 2, 2021.
Central Asian Youth Talks and the OSCE Model is an experience exchange and training event in Dushanbe for 25 young people from Central Asia. The Central Asian Youth Talks and the OSCE Model are part of a series of events organized by the OSCE Program Office in Dushanbe as part of its program to support public dialogue aimed at strengthening the capacity and skills of young people to participate in decision-making processes, promoting OSCE values and the important role that young people play in ensuring peace and security in the region.
The participants of the event discussed issues related to youth cooperation in the Central Asian region, strengthening youth dialogue and developing network platforms for the future development of the region, and also exchanged experiences on enhancing the role of youth at various levels. Within the framework of the program, young people also took part in the OSCE Model, during which participants learned about the OSCE's integrated approach to security, discussed existing problems and OSCE assistance in resolving them, and also took part in a simulation reproducing the work of the OSCE Permanent Council.
