"Central Asian Youth Dialogue" was held in Istanbul

A third-year student of the Faculty of International Law of the UWED - the UN Preventive Diplomacy Ambassador Abu Tolib Giyosov took part in the “Central Asian Youth Dialogue” in Istanbul on October 12-15, 2021, organized by the initiative of the UN Counter-Terrorism Office.

The event was held to strengthen the national capacity of youth structures and networks to facilitate and coordinate implementation of national action plans aimed at preventing violent extremism in the Central Asian region.

Within the framework of the four-day dialogue, key issues and gaps in the implementation of national plans were discussed, as well as ways to increase the involvement of young people in regional processes that will form the basis of measures to counter violent extremism.
