A round table at the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan

On November 25, 2015 at the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis a "round table" was held on "The Constitution - the legal guarantee of the country's development and well-being of society". The event was organized by the Committee on Democratic Institutions, NGOs and Civil Society Institutions of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis in cooperation with the University of World Economy and Diplomacy. It was attended by members of parliament, lawyers, political scientists and students of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy.

During the event, the participants noted that the Constitution is the legal basis for parliamentarianism, and constitutional rights and freedoms are the highest value, as well as implemented constitutional reforms are essential for the further democratization and state-building in our country.
