The “Ilkhom” prize was established for students interested in creativity and culture

Are you interested in literature and culture? Then this competition is just right to reinforce your knowledge. The “Ilkhom” prize will be awarded to young people studying and working in higher educational institutions and who have achieved high results in spiritual, educational, scientific and creative processes. It is, in particular, about studying the life and work of poets and writers, translating their works, conducting research on this basis, creating films and plays.

The competition will be held in 2 stages - selection round and main competition.

• At the qualifying stage, candidates will have to answer 50 test questions about Uzbek literature, the spiritual heritage of writers and thinkers, the life and work of literary figures.
• Three candidates with the highest test scores with positive rector recommendations can participate in the next stage.

The documents of the participants in the main competition are drawn up and submitted to the organizing committee of the competition until April 15 of each year.

The winners of the competition will be awarded as follows:

• 1st place - Spark car, special diploma and statuette;
• 2nd place - a prize of 30 million soums, a special diploma and a statuette;
• 3rd place - a prize of 15 million soums, a special diploma and a statuette.

The award ceremony will be held annually on May 20 - on the opening day of the Writers' Alley - as part of the "Great literature holiday" week.
