An example of Uzbek-Russian cooperation in education

On February 26, 2021, took place a regular meeting of the Scientific Council for the awarding of academic degrees at UWED. The central issue on the agenda was the discussion of the dissertation for the degree of Doctor (DSc) in Economics in the specialty 08.00.09 - "World Economy" by Ulugbek Ziyadullaev on the topic: "The imperatives of ensuring the economic security of the Republic of Uzbekistan during integration into the world capital market."

Doctoral dissertation was carried out at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy and the Institute of Market Problems of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

The main provisions of the dissertation were also in 2009-2021 in 76 works published in Uzbekistan, Russia and other countries, including 42 scientific articles in journals recommended by the Higher Attestation Commission of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Higher Attestation Commission of the Ministry of Education of the RF and publications indexed in the international scientometric databases Scopus , Web Of Science, RSCI.

In addition to official opponents, representatives of domestic and foreign scientific circles took part in the discussion of the dissertation. After a comprehensive discussion of the dissertation, questions and comments of official and unofficial opponents online and offline, a secret ballot was held at the request of the Higher Attestation Commission of the Republic of Uzbekistan. It was attended by 19 members of the Scientific Council, which awards academic degrees at the UWED. And was decided to award U. Ziyadullaev the required degree of Doctor of Science (doctoral) at 08.00.09 - "World Economy".
