The literary debate entitled “My native language is my pride,” dedicated to enhancing book culture

On December 13, 2019, in order to increase students' interest in studying the Uzbek language and literature, a literary discussion was held with the Republican Committee of Women on the topic “Mother tongue is my pride”.

Deputy Prime Minister, Chairperson of the Women's Committee I.E. Basitkhanova, Vice-Rector of the UWED M.T.Bakoev, Chairperson of the Women's Committee of the University E.S. Sultanova, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of International Relations S.K. Tillakhodzhaeva and other professors, teachers, officials, as well as a group of active students and media representatives attended the events .

The discussion was full of contradictions; the students were especially impressed by the speeches devoted to excerpts from “Past Days” by A. Kadiri.

At the end of the event, the chairman of the University Women's Committee, E. Sultanova, presented the book “Past Days” by A. Kadiri to the Republican Women's Committee.
