A delegation of the Japanese University of Nagoya visited the UWED

The representative delegation of the University of Nagoya represented by the Vice President of the University, Mr. Nakahigashi Masafumi, Director of the Asian Institute of Satellite Campuses at the University of Nagoya, Mr. Fumio Isoda, Dean of the Faculty of Law, Mr. Suzuki Masabumi, and a graduate of UWED - Executive Director of the Representative Office of the University of Nagoya, Eldorjon Elmurodov, were guests UWED.

The meeting took place within the framework of the “Uzbek-Japanese week of education and science”, as well as events dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the founding of the Representative Office of Nagoya University in Uzbekistan.

During the meeting, the Japanese side expressed gratitude to the management of the UWED, personally to the vice-rector of the UWED, prof. S. Saidkasymova for constant assistance in the implementation of joint projects, for the active participation of UWED students in various educational events held by the Representative Office of Nagoya University in Uzbekistan.

The parties discussed in detail the implementation of the project for the creation of the Scientific and Educational Center of Japan at the UWED. At the initial stage of its organization, regular online lecture courses will be held by professors from Nagoya University in Japanese and English. In order to better study the fundamentals of the Japanese legal system, the UWED launched a joint decision with the Representative Office of the University of Nagoya on the exchange of scientific publications, which will be an important prerequisite for the successful training of highly qualified specialists with good knowledge of the Japanese language, as well as the political and legal system of Japan as a whole.
