A scientific and practical conference dedicated to the memory of a prominent statesman, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Kyrgyzstan to Uzbekistan Batyrali Sydykov was held at the UWED together with the Embassy of Kyrgyzstan and well-known public figures of the brotherly country.

At the event, the Vice-rector for International Relations of the UWED, prof. S. Saidkasymov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Kyrgyzstan to Uzbekistan Ibrahim Dzhunusov, a well-known public figure in Kyrgyzstan, chairman of the Kurmanzhan Datka Foundation Zhyldyzkan Zholdosheva, executive director of the Uzbekistan-Kyrgyzstan Friendship Society Zukhritdin Isamutdinov, head of the social development department of the Salan Amatanov city hall Amatanov Amatshov , famous Uzbek journalist Ahmadjon Melibayev and others.

Speakers shared their memories of Batyral Sydykov, especially noted his fruitful activities as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Kyrgyzstan, and with concrete examples revealed his significant contribution to strengthening and expanding Kyrgyz-Uzbek relations.

The conference participants widely discussed the achievements and prospects for the development of cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan in the light of the new foreign policy strategy of President Sh.M. Mirziyoyev, aimed, in particular, at the comprehensive expansion of comprehensive ties between the countries of Central Asia.

The thematic photo exhibition dedicated to the 80th anniversary of B. Sydykov and the 75th anniversary of the establishment of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan aroused great interest among guests, as well as teachers and students.

The event, organized jointly with the Embassy of Kyrgyzstan, was attended by specially arrived state and public figures of the brotherly country, professors, teachers and students of the UWED, representatives of science, culture and the media.

For reference: Batyrali Sydykov - doctor of philosophical sciences, professor, was born on October 27, 1939 in the village of Mady, Kara-Suy district, Osh region, in the family of a rural teacher. He passed a large school of public service, in particular, was the governor of Osh oblast, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Kyrgyzstan to Uzbekistan, rector of the Kyrgyz Agrarian University.
