For reference: In 2017. In collaboration with the UN Office at Geneva, the University of Geneva has developed the Master of Advanced Studies in European and international Governance, (MEIG Program) program.
This is an innovative program that combines academic training and practice with subsequent internships in a particular international organization or with an in-depth study of a topic related to management. The ten-month program is addressed to young professionals who already have practical experience and wish to improve their knowledge in the field of European and international management systems. It also involves training for employees of ministries, including the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, young professionals working in the private sector or in a non-governmental organization, or graduate students of the master's level.
Private donors offer 10 scholarships for MEIG participants from ODA beneficiary countries according to the list compiled by CEB / OECD.
Five scholarships, each amounting to CHF 45,000, cover entrance fees and a substantial part of your stay in Geneva. The remaining 5 scholarships, each amounting to 20,000 Swiss francs, partially cover only living expenses in Geneva.
The provision of scholarships is due to the fact that recipients then return to their countries in order to apply the knowledge gained during the program.
Other conditions for admission are available on the MEY website, www.meiq.ch.
The selection of candidates will be based on the submitted documents. Documents of potential candidates must be submitted to the University no later than December 25, 2019.
